As I was entering the last post, I noticed that I’m now over 1,000 posts! This is number 1,005, to be exact. I don’t really keep track of the traffic on this website, although I do use Google Analytics to keep records, so at this point, I thought it might be amusing to do a little traffic analysis.
In March 2009, this blog had 6,419 visits compared to 5,298 visits in March 2008. That’s an increase of 21.1%. In March 2009 there were 11,886 pageviews versus 8.920 in March 2008. That’s an increase of more than 33%! In March 2008, there were approximately 1.7 pageviews/visit. In March 2008, the number of pageviews per visit increased to 1.85. So, even by that measure, I seem to be doing better.
What are people reading? Here are the top ten pages for March 2009:
- Home page (1939)
- The Almost Random-Wire Antenna (372)
- Two Self-Study Guides (363)
- The W3EDP Antenna (244)
- The Slinky Antenna (185)
- Listen to the Space Shuttle Launch (183)
- No VHF SWR Meter? No Problem. (178)
- Building/Homebrew Category (132)
- Classes/Testing Category (123)
- Morse Code for Kids (118)
Kind of interesting, no? My readers are apparently most interested in antennas and my study guides. I’m also glad to see building and homebrew making the top ten.
So, what’s next? The next 1,000 posts, of course. Stay tuned!
