WA2HOM, the club station at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, of which I am station manager, received its first pack of DX QSLs from the W2 incoming bureau. There was one card from the Bahamas (C6AGU), one from Spain (EE5E), and two from Germany (DL7ON, DL3YM). EE5E claims to have the “shortest CW callsign in the world!”
By the way, WA2HOM now has its own website. Go to WA2HOM.Org or look in the right-hand column of this blog to see the latest posts there.

Enjoyed browsing those QSL designs. I designed alot of cartoons for QSL cards back in the 1970’s when I ran advertising in a magazine called S-9. Keep up the great work and nice seeing all the old card displays! Keep them coming….

My neighbor’s husband, who was an old radio nut, has just died, leaving her with a HUGE collection of QSL cards, some with writing, and some without the writing. Any idea what we can do with them? Thanks

Well, there are many post card collectors out there. You could possibly sell the collection to one of them. I’d guess that’s how the card I bought at the used-book store found its way there.
