Last night, we completed my first online General class. We started out with 35 students, but finished with a somewhat smaller group. Part of this is due to several of them having passed the test already!
I applaud the rest of them for sticking with it. We met two nights a week for four weeks, with the class sessions lasting about two hours each, for a total of 16 hours of instruction. They will be testing over the next couple of weeks, but I’m confident of a high pass rate.
The class didn’t “look like America,” but there were five women in the class. There were also four or five middle school and high school students in the class, too.
I recorded all eight sessions. They are on my YouTube channel. You’ll find them in the KB6NU’s Online General Class playlist.
I have another Tech class starting on Monday, November 2. There are currently only ten signed up for the class, so there are plenty of seats left. Click here for more info.
