I’m going to be holding an online version of my one-day Tech class starting either Monday, June 8, or Tuesday, June 9. Instead of a one-day class, though, I’m going to do four, two-hour sessions spread over two weeks. (It would be torture for both me and the students to have to sit in front of a computer for the 6.5 hours that a one-day class normally takes.)
Currently, the plan is to start on Monday or Tuesday (6/8 or 6/9). The next three classes would then be on:
- Thursday, 6/11
- Monday 6/15 or Tuesday, 6/16
- Thursday, 6/18
After the class on Thursday, 6/18, students will be tested remotely by the W5YI VEC.
Because this is the first time I’m trying this, and that the W5YI VEC is testing a group all at once, I’m limiting the class size to 10 or 12 students. If you know someone who’s interested in doing this, have them get in touch with me directly. Even if I fill up this first class, or the timing just doesn’t wor k out for you, it’s certainly conceivable that I’ll keep doing this until I run out of students–or the W5YI VEC decides it has had enough.
