KB6NU teaching the Jan. 14, 2012 One-Day Tech Class
Yours truly making a point (apparently about SWR) at a recent One-Day Tech Class

On Saturday, September 28, I taught the latest of my series of One-Day Tech Classes. The result this time: 13/14 passed the test! Their call signs were just granted:

  • Randy Meyer, KE8NBS
  • Linda Micklea, KE8NBT
  • Michael Micklea, KE8NBU
  • Jeremiah Videto, KE8NBV
  • Stephen Brannon, KE8NBW
  • Edward Heidelbach, KE8NBX
  • Robert Muckelbauer, KE8NBY
  • Max Difazio, KE8NBZ
  • Dan Hanagan, KE8NCA
  • Mark Harvey, KE8NCB
  • Mike Frye-Henderson, KE8NCC
  • Richard Falconer, KE8NCD
  • Michael Burton, KI5GTD

If you hear them on the air, say hi, and be nice to them. :)

Congratulations to all the newly licensed hams! Their achievement is a testimony to the success of your teaching methods, and you should be proud of this accomplishment.

Thank you for the class. I’ve been trying 145.15, but nobody answers.

Are you accessing the repeater? That is to say do you have the CTCSS tones set up correctly?

Let me know what time you’re going to try again, and I’ll listen for you.
