CEO Job Description
ARRL, Inc., The national association for Amateur Radio with the objective of advancing the art, science and enjoyment of Amateur Radio, is seeking a full-time Chief Executive Officer for its headquarters in Newington, CT. The ARRL is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization with 159,000 members, an annual budget of $15million, 90 full and part-time employees and has a vast volunteer network comprised of thousands of volunteers across a variety of disciplines.
Reporting to the Board of Directors and the President, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for leadership and management of staff, planning and tracking financial results and corporate compliance, maintaining effective member interface and service levels, monitoring regulatory developments and directing advocacy and public-relations efforts in support of Amateur Radio domestically and worldwide. He or she will work with the Board of Directors, Officers, and other management toward achievement of the League’s goals, strategies and plans for the betterment of Amateur Radio.
