Subject: Man Land HGTVDear HQ
I am working on a new television series for HGTV called Man Land. It is about places in the home that men carve out for themselves such as the shed, basement, attic or garage in order to house their passion project – in the case of your members, their Ham Radios.
Can you help me to get the word out to your members? I am looking for guys who have outfitted the ultimate uber-ham radio station in their homes to appear on our show.
Please have any interested members contact me at 8183824312 or write me at this email address.
Thanks so much for your help. You have a great site!

I’d apply, but my shack is about as plain Jane as can be. It’s definitely not an exemplary installation. :)

Even plain Jane shacks can be Man Land for uninitiated viewers!
Go for it!

I’m not sure, but I would think that my radio and tuner sitting on a chair in the corner of my room is NOT what they are looking for. It does, however work for me. I get to sit on the floor and relax. Even with the bands in poor condition, I’ve worked some fun DX lately. My little corner of the world suits me just fine. ;)
I copied the message and sent it to my local group. Some of the Austin area guys really have nice set-ups. Wish them luck.
