The story I liked the best is the story on EssexHams foundation webinar. I’ll be blogging about this in a bit more depth this week, but I think that we should start something like this in the U.S.
I’ve blogged about the rebirth of HF. I haven’t gotten around to critiquing the article on the “uncertain future” of ham radio, but suffice it to say that I didn’t think much of the article. It seems to me that the author decided on her conclusion before talking to anyone and then picked out the relevant quotes to support that conclusion. She didn’t know much about amateur radio before writing the piece and didn’t learn much about the hobby in the process. <sigh>
- How do I check my radio for excessive harmonics?
- Why do I need a balun?
- Do I need an antenna tuner for VHF and UHF operation?
- What are dBs?
