My late grandfather was one of the first licensed ham operators in Texas, way back in the early 1900s (not sure how early) but well before WWII, perhaps the 1920s). My son and I just purchased ICOM 7300s and and are listening as we work toward our Technician licenses. He is in Denver and I am in Durango, CO. We plan to go further, perhaps to Amateur Extra.
I am 68, he is 48. Even though not required, he is learning code. He’s at 13 wpm already after one week of study.
Just wanted to give you a shout out to say thanks for your time and effort in promoting the hobby!!!

I just passed my Technician test today by using your audio book version.
Now I am looking for your audio version for the General.
Is this in the works at all?

One more bit of feedback: Thanks! Your T, G, & E study guides (kindle versions) really helped me learn the material for all three tests. Very convenient to carry around and study while waiting in the DMV line, recovering from sinus surgery (yuck, but it helped pass the time), or while dawdling over lunch at work. So thanks again. They helped a lot, and I recommend them every time somebody asks for study tips.
Hmmmm. Maybe I can now claim that my study guides are so good they’ll even help you recover from surgery!
