Here are a couple of cool links I’ve run across lately:
- SolderSmoke: This podcast is a cool audio blog of KL7R’s ham radio activities. As the name would imply, he concentrates on homebrewing, especially QRP. #26 is a conversation with a friend N0HBR on his latest antenna experiements.
- Mac Ham Radio: This site is kind of a Version Tracker for Mach ham radio software. There are links to both commercial and free software. In the latter category, the site has a link to the latest MacSpice. Very cool.
- The Elecraft Owner Online Database: This site lists owners of Elecraft rigs. If you’re thinking of buying one, check it out to find someone in your area who already has one. Chances are they’d be cool with letting you come over and see theirs.
- Propfire for Firefox: I don’t use the Firefox browser, but this might change my mind. It’s a cool add-on that allows users to view HF propagation conditions on their web browser status bar.

Hey – thanks for the plug for Propfire. You have a great blog/website yourself, and I’ll make sure it’s on my ham radio links site as well.
