I used to be the webmaster for our local bicycling club, and over the weekend, I came across a CD-ROM with photos of the 2001 version of th ebike club’s annual One Helluva Ride (so called because some of the longer routes go through Hell, MI).
The bike tour is also one of our ham radio club’s big public-service events. We ride along in sag wagons, helping the drivers find and help bikers along the way. The photo below shows me acting as net control for that event.
The second photo is from this year’s Fourth of July Parade. This is another annual event for which our club provides communications.
I’m a little grayer in the second one. :)
