Cleveland’s Amateur Radio Club celebrates 50th year. The Cleveland Amateur Radio Club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The first constitution of the club is dated June 22, 1952. The club will celebrate its history with different events throughout the year.
Ham fest brings together familiar voices. Some familiar voices got together Saturday in Hermon to meet some not so familiar faces. Members of the Bangor Chapter of the Pine State Amateur Radio Club took part in Ham Fest. It’s the 25th year for the event, which gives some ham radio operators a chance to see each other for the first time, even though they may have been talking to each other for years.
Amateur radio ‘hams’ still found up & down the dial. Amateur radio operators silently surround us, though they could be your only hope when other modes of communication fail.
