Just now, I decided to take a look at eHam.Net. After reading an interesting article on a new type of key that uses strain gages to make dits and dahs, I decided to take a look at ad rates. One of the better deals seems to be a banner ad at the top of review category pages. They’re only $10/month.
Next, I was curious as to the reviews for my study guides. Here’s what I found:
- Just four hours study.. and get my license!!
- Amazing Guide! Tech in 3-4 Days!
- Sufficient, efficient, and great!
- Great guide — better than memorizing Q&A.
There were a bunch more, but I won’t bore you with them.
I was feeling pretty good about myself, but then, I noticed that the latest review was from 2006! Not only that, there were no reviews of the General Class or Extra Class study guides.
So, can I ask some of you who have used my study guides to get your licenses to write a review? If so, I’d appreciate it. To add a review to the Ham Radio education & exam prep materials category, go to http://www.eham.net/reviews/addprod/56.
If you’ve read The CW Geek’s Guide to Having Fun with Morse Code, please go to http://www.eham.net/reviews/addprod/42 to enter a review in the Books/Manuals/Videos/Pod-WebCasts on ham radio category.
THANKS!

When I saw the article title I thought you were referring to QRZ.com forums being down….

I just started the General Guide review, Dan. Looks like they are going to need to approve it, because it’s not showing up with the Tech and Code reviews, but hopefully they’ll have it up and going. Thanks for your work!
