A reader wrote to me this morning that Chuck, K7QO, had wrote him:
The FISTS organization had my code course along with another audio CD on sale for about $4 US. Due to a reorganization in progress the store is closed at this time. For those interested in my code course, here is an ISO file of the entire course. just download it and you can mount it using some software on your O/S as then access the files individually.
With the .iso file, it’s very easy to burn a CD with all the .mp3 files. I keep a stock on hand to pass out at ham radio events that I attend. When anyone expresses even the slightest interest in learning Morse Code, I pull out a CD and hand it to him or her.
K7QO’s website has a lot of other interesting stuff, if you’re inclined to take a peek at it, and he’s the guest on the latest episode (#58) of the QSO Today podcast.

Dan,
I just noted that Chuck’s website is no longer in business. I’m guessing he is “winding down” … so to speak.
Certainly has one of the best ways to learn and improve CW skills.
Do you know if he is doing OK?

It looks like he’s moved his website over to k7qo.com. I’ve updated the links in the post above…..Thanks, Dan.

Chuck cancelled his license. The cancellation was effective 1/14/2022, according to the FCC ULS site. Someone else now holds his call. I do hope he is OK.
