As reported earlier, I taught another one-day Tech class last Saturday. 14 out of 15 who attended passed the test.
I haven’t asked students in the previous classes to evaluate the class, but now I’m thinking that it might be a good idea. Here are the questions that I’m thinking of asking:
Class Content and Materials (Rate on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 means you strongly agree and 1 means you strongly disagree. Leave additional comment in the comment box below.)
- The class met my expectations.
- The course materials were useful (organized, easy to refer to, substantive).
- The instructor was knowledgeable about the subject and presented the material in an organized, effective way.
- The venue was a good place to learn about amateur radio.
Other Questions
- What did you like most about the class (e.g., content, download materials, etc.)?
- What did you like least about the class?
- What could be done to improve the class?
- If we offered other amateur radio classes on topics targeted at newcomers, like how to choose a radio, how to get involved in public service, etc., would you attend?
- Any suggestions on how we might reach others who might benefit from this class?
What do you think? Are there any other questions that I might add to this survey?
