I haven’t posted any QSLs lately because I hadn’t really worked any new ones until last month. Then, I managed to work these two within a couple of weeks of each other, and fortunately, both agreed to QSL, and now I have two more in my collection of QSL cards from stations whose call signs spell words.
Roger “Rip” Rippy lives in Montana, hence this beautiful QSL. We had a great ragchew on 20 meters once he pointed his beam at Michigan, not California.
I worked the W5KID aboard the USS Kidd on June 3, during the Museum Ships Weekend.
