I received a packet of QSL from the bureau today, and four of the eight cards were from Italy. I love getting cards from Italy because they’re so stylish. Here’s what arrived today:
- IS0IGV. This card had a nice photo of an Italian Navy ship.
- IK5SRD. This was the “plain Jane” of the bunch. He did make this contact running only 5W, though, so I guess he’s taking a minimalist approach to QSLing, too.
- IZ0FZQ. This card looked plain at first, but turn it over and you’re treated to an Escher-esque school of fish.
- IT9QAU. This card has an impressive view of Mount Aetna.
I also received cards today from KB9PLB and KC9HEM, the latter, of course, for my collection of QSLs from stations whose callsigns spell words. Earlier in the week, I received a card from K1NUN.
