Just yesterday I took an old crappy uber simple 20 meter dipole to a friends house, wanting to get him acquainted with HF in anticipation of a Field Day Upgrade beyond Tech. It is very much like the antenna in the video. I will pass this video on to him to reinforce that an antenna doesn’t always have to be perfect. But he will be warned that I better not ever hear him say “impedance” that way.
Haha yes sorry about that I don’t know why I keep saying it wrong :-( But this should reinforce the fact that you don’t have to real’y know anything about antennas to be able to make one work haha
