Videos: ZS6BKW antenna, antenna gain, March 2021 QSO Today Ham Expo

February 4, 2021 By Dan KB6NU Leave a Comment

The ZS6BKW antenna is like a G5RV only better…at least that’s what some hams think.

Antenna Gain

A friend of mine, who’s a newcomer to amateur radio, sent me this link. The video uses the analogy of a light bulb to explain antenna gain.

QSO Today Ham Expo

The next QSO Today Ham Expo will take place on Saturday/Sunday, March 13/14, 2021. In this video, Jason, KC5HWB, interviews Eric, 4Z1UG, the head guy behind the Expo. Unlike the first Expo, which took place last August, there will be a $10 charge for attending.

I’ll be speaking at this event. My topic is “Teaching Online Amateur Radio Classes.” At this point, the talks haven’t been scheduled, so I’m not sure when it will take place.
